Christina Stroud

Founder and CEO


Christina is the Owner and Co-Founder of Group928. She started her career at BMW Manufacturing where she progressed through multiple leadership positions across the Human Resources organization over the course of her 14-year tenure with the company. The scope of her BMW experience spans US and International operations and includes positions in Recruiting, HR Operations, Change Management, and work as an HR Business Partner. Christina’s first exposure to a start-up business was with Venture Capital-backed Proterra, a high growth green-industry manufacturer of vehicle power and charging solutions. At Proterra, Christina built and led the HR team and hired and developed the company's Executive team. From Proterra, Christina joined Day & Zimmerman, a $2.4 billion family-owned global construction company. While there she led an HR function responsible for four business units and instilled focus on making people strategy a competitive business advantage. Christina was recruited to Private Equity-owned Multi-Pack Solutions, a contract packaging company for medical devices, as head of the national Human Resources function. In 2017 Christina joined the 35-person executive recruiting firm Westport Intl as a Managing Director, the last position she held prior to co-founding Group928.

 

Christina holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Management from the College of Business & Behavioral Science at Clemson University and a master's degree in Human Resources from Clemson University. She lives with her family just outside of Greenville, SC.

Michael Evans

Managing Director


Michael is currently a Strategic Advisor to Group928 and is an original Co-founder with Christina Stroud. Michael brings more than 25 years of recruiting experience to Group928, both in retained executive search and leading in-house recruiting functions. During the course of his career, he worked with Kensington International, IRI, Rasmussen Inc and Huron Consulting Group. Michael joined Whirlpool Corporation to lead executive recruiting for North America and focused heavily on recruiting talent into Sales, IoT, Supply Chain, Plant Operations, and Marketing. In 2017 Michael joined Westport Intl, a 35-person executive recruiting firm, as a Managing Director and shared the same start date with Christina Stroud.


Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Wheaton College and an MBA from The University of Notre Dame. He lives with his family in suburban Chicago.

Joan Saoy

Recruiting Coordinator


Joan Saoy is an accomplished Recruiting Coordinator currently working at Group928 in South Carolina. Since joining the company in June 2022, Joan has developed innovative recruitment strategies, identified top talent, and ensured strong communication throughout the hiring process. Key strengths she utilizes include optimizing recruiting plans, building robust talent pipelines, and leveraging multi-channel outreach techniques to source quality candidates.


In addition, Joan draws from a diverse professional background that equips her with a comprehensive skillset. This includes previous roles managing accounts and projects at Resource Worldwide Ltd in London, where she strengthened client partnerships, led marketing initiatives, and expanded service offerings. She also lent her HR expertise as a Specialist at iHR Buddy in Atlanta, efficiently managing functions like compensation, benefits, and HR policies.


Over an impressive career spanning over 8 years across global geographies, Joan has consistently delivered exceptional recruiting and HR outcomes. From spending 5 years working in the Philippines to her current 3 years in the United States, she has become an invaluable asset to every organization. Driven by a passion for advancing HR best practices, Joan remains a crucial force for success.

Ralph Reymon Fuentes

Business development & Operations Support


Ralph Fuentes is a highly versatile Executive Assistant and Operations Support Specialist at Group928, bringing over 8 years of experience in executive support, data-driven project management, and lead generation across diverse industries including legal services, marketing, and technology.


Before joining Group928, Ralph served in key virtual and executive assistant roles at several U.S.-based firms, where he streamlined workflow automation, managed executive calendars, implemented CRM systems, and supported business development teams with real-time data and reporting. He is known for his ability to integrate seamlessly with leadership teams, driving operational efficiency through his strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and proactive communication.


Ralph’s global experience spans business support roles in the Philippines and the United States, enabling him to bring a multicultural, adaptable approach to collaboration. He is deeply committed to improving internal systems, supporting recruitment pipelines, and helping leadership focus on strategic growth by handling day-to-day execution.


Ralph holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Technological University of the Philippines and has earned certifications in project management, research methodology, and data systems. He lives with his family in the Philippines and is driven by a passion for excellence, continuous learning, and long-term impact.
