Christina Stroud

Founder and CEO

Christina is the Owner and Co-Founder of Group928. She brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources, executive leadership, and executive search, with a career built around helping organizations strengthen leadership and drive business performance.


Christina began her career at BMW Manufacturing, where she spent 14 years in progressively senior Human Resources leadership roles supporting both U.S. and international operations. Her experience included recruiting, HR operations, change management, and serving as an HR Business Partner, giving her a deep understanding of manufacturing organizations and the leaders who drive them.


She later joined venture capital-backed Proterra, where she built and led the Human Resources function during a period of rapid growth and helped recruit and develop the company's executive leadership team.


From there, Christina joined Day & Zimmerman, a $2.4 billion family-owned global construction and engineering company, where she led the Human Resources function for four business units and helped position people strategy as a competitive business advantage.

She then served as the head of Human Resources for private equity-backed Multi-Pack Solutions, a national contract packaging company specializing in medical devices, before transitioning into executive search as a Managing Director at Westport International.


These experiences shaped the philosophy behind Group928: executive search should be more than filling positions. It should help organizations make leadership decisions that strengthen execution, support growth, and create long-term business value.


Christina holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Management and a master's degree in Human Resources from Clemson University. She lives with her family just outside Greenville, South Carolina.

Michael Evans

Managing Director

Michael is a Strategic Advisor and Co-Founder of Group928. With more than 25 years of experience in executive recruiting and talent acquisition, he has built a career helping organizations identify and attract leadership talent that drives business performance. His background spans both retained executive search and leading in-house executive recruiting functions.


Throughout his career, Michael has held leadership roles with Kensington International, IRI, Rasmussen Inc., and Huron Consulting Group, gaining extensive experience across a wide range of industries and executive leadership functions.


Michael later joined Whirlpool Corporation, where he led Executive Recruiting for North America. In this role, he focused on recruiting senior leaders across Sales, IoT, Supply Chain, Plant Operations, and Marketing, partnering closely with business leaders to build high-performing executive teams.


In 2017, Michael joined Westport International as a Managing Director, where he and Christina Stroud began on the same day. Their shared philosophy on executive search, client partnership, and leadership hiring ultimately led to the founding of Group928.


Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Wheaton College and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He lives with his family in the suburbs of Chicago.

Krystelle is a Website and Funnel Specialist and Operations Support professional at Group928 with experience supporting international businesses across marketing, SaaS, training services, and e-commerce industries. She specializes in website management, sales funnels, CRM systems, marketing automation, and executive support, helping teams streamline operations and improve digital workflows.


Before joining Group928, Krystelle worked with global teams as a Website and Funnel Expert, Marketing Assistant, and Executive Support Specialist. She is recognized for her strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring systems and backend processes run efficiently.


Krystelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, majoring in Computer Programming from STI West Negros University, which strengthened her expertise in digital systems, automation, and online business operations. Based in the Philippines, she is passionate about continuous learning and helping businesses grow through organized systems, technology, and operational support.

Ralph Fuentes

Business Development & Operations Support

Ralph is an Executive Assistant and Operations Support Specialist at Group928 with over 8 years of experience in executive support, project coordination, lead generation, and operations management across industries including legal services, marketing, and technology. He has supported U.S.-based firms in streamlining workflows, managing executive schedules, implementing CRM systems, and assisting business development teams with reporting and data management.


Throughout his career, Ralph has built a reputation for his strong attention to detail, professionalism, and proactive communication. His experience working with international teams has allowed him to develop a flexible and collaborative approach, helping organizations improve operational efficiency while supporting leadership teams with day-to-day execution and internal systems management.


Ralph holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Technological University of the Philippines and has earned certifications in project management, research methodology, and data systems. Based in the Philippines, he is passionate about continuous learning, operational excellence, and creating long-term impact through reliable support and organized systems.
